CLAUS PRELL
Claus lernte vom amerikanischen Gitarristen Ira Kriss an der Swiss Jazz School das Handwerk (1990-94). Er besuchte 1995 die Summer School an der Manhattan School of Music in New York. Zu seinen weiteren wichtigen Lehrern gehörten Claus Rückbeil in Berlin und der norwegische Gitarrist Lage Lund. Neben seinen eigenen Bands (Minor Matters, Blue House Combo, Prell e Guzzi) war Claus an verschiedenen anderen Bandprojekten beteiligt (Voice&Boys, Baladjem, Jazzillus). Er gehört seit vielen Jahre der Westside Big Band an, die unter der Leitung von Matt Stämpfli, in Bern Bethlehem zuhause ist. Bei Triple-T hat er sofort eine musikalische Heimat gefunden.
Claus developed his skills by studying at the Swiss Jazz School (1990-94). His instrumental teacher there was the American guitar player Ira Kriss. He attended the Summer School at the Manhattan School of Music in New York (1995). Among his other important teachers were Claus Rückbeil in Berlin and the Norwegian guitar player Lage Lund. In addition to his own bands (Minor Matters, Blue House Combo, Prell e Guzzi) He was involved in various other band projects (Voice & Boys, Baladjem, Jazzillus). He has been a member of the Westside Big Band for many years. Claus joined Triple-T in the beginning of 2018 and found there excellent conditions, creativity and lots of fun.
